General Representatives

General Representatives have the widest remit on Council, and represent all students rather than a particular group. There are, however, First Year General Representatives, and Postgraduate General Representatives who do represent a specific demographic of students.

While General Representatives don’t have specific responsibilities over and above general council responsibilities, they will work with a sabbatical member throughout the year on specific projects important to them. They are often the backbone of discussion groups or helper groups on council.
