Lauren Jamieson
My name is Lauren, I’m a fourth year English Literature/Scottish Literature student back in Glasgow after participating in Glasgow University’s Study Abroad programme last year. Having worked and lived in an academic environment different than my own, I have come to realise how truly essential it is that students of this university are fully represented. In a time when societal focus turns its back on the Arts, it is more important than ever that the voice of our school is heard and we take an active role in shaping our own education.
If elected, I will:
Ensure that communication between staff, students, and the SRC is as clear and constructive as possible.
Make myself readily available to students with any comments or concerns, and resolve these concerns through the appropriate channels.
Ensure that the School of Critical Studies has fair and equal representation alongside the other schools of the university.
