Chris Day | Elected 2011
I’m Chris Day, a fresher, studying Economics, Politics and Business & Management. I intend to improve aspects of university life for first year students, and provide a link between us- first years, and Glasgow’s main student body. Realistically, promising to single handedly prevent tuition fee rises, and slash loan interests is something I can’t do. If elected, I will however, work hard on things that are achievable. At the moment, students studying vet-med, living in a main Hall, have no useful direct access to the SRC minibus service. I aim to introduce a minibus route from Murano Street and QM, out to Garscube- running at least twice a day. As well as this, I want to improve the online availability of lecture recordings, slides and notes on Moodle for those who miss a lecture or want to see it again. I’m very approachable and dependable to argue new ideas.
