Cornerstones Befriending Project
Cornerstone provides care and support in your community to enable children, young people and adults with disabilities and other support needs to enjoy a valued life.
Cornerstone needs volunteers to add value to our high quality services and help us enhance the lives of the people we support. Just a few hours a week could not only change the life of someone with disabilities and other support needs.
What opportunities are available?
We aim to match your interests to the needs of the people we support. We have a number of different opportunities including:
– Befriending
– Activity Enabling
– Administration Support
– Children’s Services
– Fundraising
– Corporate Community Days
– Project Scotland
Cornerstones provide induction and training, regular support, reimbursement of expenses and recognition of your contribution. We require you to complete an application form and a Disclosure Scotland check.
