Splash
This project offers students the chance to help out in swimming classes for children with additional support needs. As a splash volunteer you do not need any previous experience or training (other than being able to swim), as you will be working under the supervision of a qualified swimming coach. You will also receive support and training throughout your placement from the SRC and Culture and Sport Glasgow.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please e-mail volunteer@src.gla.ac.uk. The SRC are required to ask all students who will go on to work with children under the age of 18 or vulnerable adults to complete a Disclosure Scotland form, and you collect one of these from the SVSS Coordinator on the first floor of the John McIntyre building.
